Problem Note 64508: Archiving metadata content with SAS® Data Integration Studio can cause errors when you use the Git Version Control plug-in
You might receive error messages while archiving metadata content in SAS Data Integration Studio when you are using the Git Version Control plug-in. These errors might occur when the plug-in is configured for use with the GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket version control repositories. Errors can be similar to the following:
Exception in thread "BackgroundOperation" java.lang.NullPointerException at java.io.File.
[Fatal Error]:-1:-1: Premature end of file. org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; Premature end of file.
To work around the problem, take these steps:
- Log in to the GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket repository.
- Edit the archives.xml file, and add the following content:

- Save the changes to the archives.xml file.
